The doctors at McAllen Pediatric Associates are working together with local dentists to help improve the oral health of children. Our medical staff is trained to provide an oral evaluation and fluoride varnish application to children ages 6-35 months of age. Our doctors will then give a referral for a pediatric or general dentist for regular dental care. Starting dental care early in a child’s life can help prevent future dental problems. Oral health is an important factor in overall health! Make sure to ask your doctor about the fluoride varnish application.
